Are dating relationships at risk of becoming impersonal for fear that you may meet the wrong person through an app such as ‘Girls Around Me’? Should these apps come with warnings for both users and the women being stalked?
Tony Tolbert helps homeless Felicia Dukes, lends his home for 2013
As residents in a homeless shelter, Felicia Dukes and her kids probably never thought a break would come so soon for them.
L.A. based entertainment lawyer, Tony Tolbert (51) decided to lend his home to Dukes and her children for 2013.
Son to a very generous father, Tolbert explains he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps – Tony’s father is currently living with Alzheimer’s disease. He comments:
“You don’t have to be Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or Oprah,”
“We can do it wherever we are, with whatever we have, and for me, I have a home that I can make available.”
“Kindness creates kindness; generosity creates generosity; love creates love,”
“I think if we can share some of that and have more stories about people doing nice things for other people, and fewer stories about people doing horrible things to other people, that’s a better world.”
With the New Year well underway, 2013 has already brought some good luck to Felicia Dukes and her family. The extent of Tony Tolbert’s kindness to the Dukes family is something special. Not everyone gets a much needed break out of the blue.
