Actress Zoe Saldana (34) reveals she is attracted to women in an exclusive “Allure” interview as per reports from USA Today on May 14.
Earlier this year, Zoe made headlines after her stormy breakup with actor Bradly Cooper from the movie “The Hangover”.
In a sexy topless “Allure” photo-shoot, the “Avatar” star explained she has always felt she’s a bit of a “tomboy”, almost fluid in her sexuality. As such, she feels she could easily see herself “ending up with a woman”.
Saldana offered some insights into her self-described “androgynous” sexuality: “[I might] end up with a woman raising my children … that’s how androgynous I am.”
She added in regards to being black and Hispanic: “It doesn’t matter how much backlash I will get for it, I will honor and respect my black community because that’s who I am. It’s hard enough to be a woman on this earth. So to be an American or black or Latina, its arbitrary compared to our battles as women.”
Zoe Saldana is best known for her work in movies such as “Star Trek: Into the Darkness” and “The Words”.
Her full interview is set to hit the stands in the May 21, 2013 issue of “Allure”.
