Bachelorette 2013 spoilers: Who went home in Portugal after dates?
Desiree had a tough week during her time in Madeira, Portugal. The episode aired July 8 and was filled with romance, a bit of tears, and unfortunately for “Bachelor Nation”, not a whole lot of drama.
So who went home in Portugal during week 7?
The week include two one-on-one dates and a two-on-one date with the guys.
Des shared with the week with her final five bachelors, Zak, Chris, Brooks, Drew, and Michael.
The first date for the week was between Des and Brooks. The two spent a romantic date among the clouds. Des pretty much told Chris, in her cheesy way, that she’s in love with him.
He smiled to her but admitted off camera he isn’t quite there yet emotionally.
The next date was between Chris and Desiree atop a romantic yacht. Together they sailed to a deserted island to spend the day alone together.
He and Des wrote a poem together and sent it off into the ocean in a bottle.
Chris professed his love to Des in a poem over dinner – it was a romantic night for them.
Then Michael finally got one-on-one with Des. He and Desiree explored the city of Madeira, taking in the local customs.
After a minimally romantic dinner, the ended the night.
The two-on-one date took Desiree, Zak, and Drew to the race track.
The three of them raced go-carts and spent a fun day together. Drew got the rose on the group date after he told Des he was in love with her.
Zak also shared his love with paintings recounting his journey of love on “The Bachelorette” 2013.
At the end of the date, Drew got the rose and Zak was left with another evening of nail-biting as he wonder whether he would be going home that night.
The rose ceremony found Des sending one of these final five guys home.
So, who did Des send home at the Portugal rose ceremony?
At the end of the night, Michael was the one standing empty-handed and broken hearted.
Bachelorette 2013 Desiree explained the relationships she shares with Drew, Chris, Zak, and Brooks have moved much quicker.
